The following services are provided by our department:
House vacation checks – Going away for a while? Sign up for a house check and officers will conduct extra patrol on your house during the time you are away (City residents only). Call the main office during business hours for more information.
Vehicle unlock – lock your keys in your vehicle? Officers’ can attempt to unlock your vehicle. You must sign a damage waiver before the officer will attempt this.
Project Reassurance – This program was created by us for senior residents and disabled residents who live alone or who require special living assistance. When you are registered with us you agree to call our clerical staff at pre-arranged times to “check in” so that we know you are ok. If we don’t hear from you, we will attempt to call you and/or send an officer to your residence to make sure you are ok. Call the main office during business hours for more information.
Drug Drop Box – Safely dispose of your unused/unwanted prescription or over-the-counter medications. Our secure drop box is located in our lobby which is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. We ask that all medications are in their original container or in a bag and not loose. Sharps/needles and injectors are not accepted.
Bicycle safety inspection – Contact Officer Matt Schultz for this free service.
