[ARCHIVED] Christmas Tree Collections begin week of January 7th

Christmas trees will be picked up by the Public Works Department January 7th -February 1st, weather permitting. By Monday of each week please place your tree on the tree border.
Please make sure trees are not in a bag.

Do you have a wreath or garland you want to dispose of?  There are two options:...
 1. With the recent report of insects found on wreaths purchased at many of the large retailers, Columbia County is asking that wreaths & garlands with wire be placed in a garbage bag, and then be placed in your trash container; or
 2. You can bring them to the Public Works Department to be placed in a Community Bonfire, planned for Friday, February 1st. For DPW dropoff, do not place wreath or garland in the bag.  Stop in the DPW office when you bring them in.
